Product Description

Store away your stationery in this zipped pencil case sewn from fabrics with a stylish contemporary leafy print or blue wavy lines that will stand out amongst the paper mess on your work desk. The case serves equally well as a pouch to keep your earpieces, thumb drives, money, or even cosmetics when you are on the go.

As each case is individually hand sewn, the pattern in each product that you purchase may vary from the one you see in the picture.

These cases are sewn by a group of former street ladies in Singapore. Desperate for a sustained livelihood, these ladies were previously trapped in the sex trade. With the desire to break out of that meaningless life, they learned sewing skills and crafted these products with their hands, giving them the hope to live a dignified life and earn a stable income to sustain their families.

Every purchase of the products goes a long way to empower the former street ladies to embark on a new journey for themselves and their families.

Tamar Village

Tamar Village Ministry was established in 2010 to reach out to ladies trapped in the sex trade in Singapore. The ministry has been reaching out and walking with the ladies through a journey of healing and restoration, through counselling, coaching and discipleship. Recently, they started a 3-year reformation programme focused on transforming the lives of ex-streetwalkers and re-introducing them back to the society. The ladies are taught how to hope once again and to realise that they are still precious despite the circumstances that they have gone through. The products sold here are hand-sewn by the ladies, and all the proceeds from the sales will go towards funding their journey of transformation into productive members of society once again. Read More
